Cool Designs: Nieu Wheren

    The other day while I was looking at a magazine I found with a design of Nieuwe Heren. I found them quite interesting. Nieuweheren is formed by two german boys in their twenties who started with this project in 2009.

  Mientras ojeaba una revista, me encontré con la fotografía de una silla que me llamo la atención, y era del estudio de diseño Nieu Weheren.  Formado por dos veinteañeros alemanes en el 2009 diseñan desde mobiliario hasta un equipo de seguridad para la ciudad.

 

POET CHAIR: This chair is emerged by the idea of really taking time to read yor children a bedtime story. Shaped into an object that will not misfit anyone's household. 

  A foldable chair with the perfect reading light. Done reading? Just store it against the wall and enjoy the ambient light.

  POET CHAIR: Este asiento se forma con la idea de leer un cuento a los niños antes de que se vayan a la cama.  Incorpora una lampara que es ideal para leer. No vas a leer? Puedes apoyar la silla en la pared y usarla sólo como lampara.

  SUITED CASE: Just four travelbags, but linked together it reminds you of home. Your coach on a remote location. But also on airports and trainstations, you can bring a little homish comfort and a feeling of safety with you.

  SUITED CASE: Simplemente 4 maletas, pero unidas te recordarán a tu hogar. Podrás sentirte como en casa en cualquier estación de autobuses, de trenes, en el aeropuerto, etc. Siempre como en casa.

Autumn - Otoño : Niki Jones

  The autumn has arrived, at least here in the UK.  I have always liked the season changes, especially looking at the new brochures and magazines. In this case the catalogue of Niki Jones has transport me in autumn with her hand crafted fabrics, furniture, mirrors, etc. The pictures of the catalogue are simply beatiful.

  El otoño ha llegado, al menos aquí en Reino Unido. Siempre me han gustado los cambios de estación, ya que eso significa nuevos catálogos y revistas.  En este caso el nuevo catalogo de Niki Jones me ha transportado totalmente al otoño con sus telas echas a mano, muebles, espejos, etc. Además, las fotografías son simplemente bonitas.

COOL SPACES TOUR: Italian Rest in Notting Hill

   My love is sincere of this restaurant. Apart from the delicious food, I like rather than that the way they have added natural and artesanal touches in the decoration, as the food they cook. Just as in the kitchen and with truncs in mirrors. The use of the colour is another thing I like in this local. Enjoy the pictures!

  Este restaurante me gustó realmente. Además de la deliciosa comida italiana, la decoración me gusto aún más. Me encantó la manera en la que han añadido toques naturales y artesanales como los troncos en las columnas reflejados en los espejos y la comida colgando en la cocina. Otra de las cosas reseñables es el uso del color, colores tierra y negros, con la suma de colores vivos mediante el mobiliario. Disfrutad de las fotos!

Old things I love / Cosas viejas que me gustán

  Months ago I went to my granfathers farm house and I found a lot of old things. However, some of them were very interesting and it is easy to restore them or maybe you will only need to paint them. So I firmly reccommend you to look furniture in your family old houses or if you don't have any, you can always go to second-hand markets or flea market. I´m sure you will find some things you will like in a really good price.

  Hace meses fui a visitar el caserío de mis abuelos y claro, encontré cantidad de sillas, muebles, juguetes viejos. La mayoría me gustaron y me trajeron viejos recuerdos. Pero también hay algunos que pueden volver a usarse restaurándose o simplemente pintándolos. En conclusión, os recomiendo ir a visitar viejas casas de campo, caseríos, etc de vuestra familia. Y sino, siempre quedan los rastrillos, mercadillos y tiendas de segunda mano en los que encontraras cosas muy interesantes a buenos precios.

Cool Interiors in TV: FRIENDS

  I have always been a fan of friends. Although I have seen all the episodes I continue seeing them at TV. But especially I am a fan of the set design and tabletop wares in Monica's kitchen. Greg Grande was the set director who created Monica’s famous kitchen. 

  The style of the kitchen is eclectic and original. Greg Grande got a fle market style that everybody remembers.

  Siempre he sido fan incondicional de Friends. Aunque haya visto todos los capítulos sigo viéndolos en la televisión. Pero sobre todo soy fan del decorado y especialmente de la cocina de Mónica. El director del decorado de la serie era Greg Grande y el creador de la famosa cocina de Mónica. 

  El estilo de la cocina es ecléctico y original con sillas y mesas pintadas de colores vivos.
