Herederos de Rowan is a communication agency that is located in a special location with a lot of history, that was used for activities linked to fishing. The name of this building is BITA (1946) and was made by the architect Fausto. Before this building was reformed in 1990 it had been used for three activities: market, warehouse and for the cleaning, dyeing and drying of nets. Nowadays, it continues to be the same building from the outside but inside we can find offices of architects, designers, photographers, ... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Herederos de Rowan es una agencia de comunicación que se encuentra en un sitio muy especial y con mucha historia, la antigua redería de Pasajes. También conocido como edificio BITA (1946) es obra del arquitecto Fausto y fue concebido como edificio industrial que a lo largo del tiempo tuvo tres usos: mercado, almacenes industriales y limpieza, teñido y secado de redes antes de su rehabilitación hacia 1990. Ahora, en el aloja distintas oficinas para arquitectos, interioristas, fotógrafos y en este caso a está agencia de comunicación llamada Herederos de Rowan.  |
This amazing "SHOW" sign is part of the work made for the preview in the Tabakalera building of " Balada triste de trompeta" , the last film of Alex de la Iglesia. Old pictures of the surrounding buildings are leaned againts the wall. El espectacular cartel de "SHOW" es parte del trabajo de herederos para el preestreno exclusivo de “Balada triste de trompeta” de Álex de la Iglesia en Tabakalera. En la pared se apoyan fotografías antiguas del edificio de la redería. |
In the first floor of the antique building are located the headquarters of Herederos, which have achieved to create his own atmosphere. The access to the office is gained through a big and industrial lift. The office, which has very high ceiling and large loft like windows, is used to expose their work. They clients have been: The Fine Art Museum of Bilbao, financial institutions, Heineken, Save the Children institution...
This office has a open space with an unique space which is used for different activities like: working, waiting room, kitchen and conference room. Stand out are the use of the bookcase to create a divider from this different areas.
Finally, old photographs of the building and wooden boxes used for fishing mention the old building BITA.
El edificio desprende historia y un ambiente muy especial, pero en la 1ª planta los Herederos han creado su propia atmósfera. Se accede a través de un ascensor industrial enorme y llegamos a su oficina de techos muy altos, ventanales diferentes a los que suelen verse en las oficinas y una exposición de sus trabajos dispuestos por toda la estancia. Entre sus clientes se encuentran: Museo de Bellas Artes de Bilbao, Kutxa, Heineken, Save the Children, etc.
La estancia se trata de un espacio único polivalente dividido en: área de recepción, área de trabajo, office y espacio de reuniones. De separación entre estas estancias se han usado las librerías.
Como referencia al edificio de la antigua redería podemos ver fotografías antiguas apoyadas en la pared y las cajas de madera que pueden verse nada más entrar a la oficina con peces pintados en ellas.
